In this video, we present three PRO TIPS to speed up your study of English vocabulary. If you want to learn more, check out our growing library of vocabulary videos. #englishvocabulary #advancedenglish #intermediateenglish ABOUT THIS CHANNEL English vocabulary x3 is a channel dedicated entirely to English vocabulary. We post short video clips that present sets of three related words, along with their meanings, frequent pairings, use in context, and examples in online sources. STRUCTURE IS EVERYTHING Our motto is to “learn through structure, not effort.” Structured information is easy to remember. Unstructured information is easily forgotten. This is why reading by itself does not dramatically improve your active vocabulary. Our channel presents vocabulary in a structured format, allowing you to learn new vocabulary through structure, not effort. TRIPLE YOUR VOCABULARY Our goal is to “triple your vocabulary.” Most English learners have a basic vocabulary of around 2,000-3,000 words. Advanced speakers have a vocabulary of close to 10,000 words. The additional 7,000–8,000 words are not all new vocabulary, but rather variations of basic vocabulary, including phrasal verbs and idioms. Each time you watch one of our videos, you are tripling (diversifying) your existing vocabulary, thereby moving closer to an advanced vocabulary. JOIN OUR COMMUNITY Many other channels teach grammar, pronunciation, basic conversation, etc. English vocabulary x3 is the only channel dedicated entirely to vocabulary. So, if you want to improve your English vocabulary rapidly and consistently, join our community today. Subscribe to our channel, like our videos, leave comments, and above all, triple your vocabulary!
