A Pigtail plastic billiary stent is seen in situ which is removed by grasping with dormia basket and extracted out. PANCREATOGRAM: Not attempted. CHOLANGIOGRAM: There is a tight stricture is seen at mid CBD. Rest of the CBD, CHD and the intrahepatic ducts are grossly dilated. An 8cm partially covered metallic billiary stent is implanted into the bile duct across the narrowed segment with establishment of free flow of bile COMMENTS: (?) Benign Distal CBD Stricture (but possibilities of distal cholangiocarcinoma could not be ruled out). THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION: Removal of plastic stent and re- metal stenting done.
