Songs like her's are more art than music, which transport me as a visual artist to a happy place. "Coyote." When asked about the meaning of this song, she told us a quick story that her grandma used to call her that. While she admits because she was a "little shit," I think the song tells a deeper story. Relatable and endless to the listener. Maybe we've all bit cause we're scared. Our associate producer and Oklahoma homie, Bradley James Dry was kind enough to show us around the area to shoot some videos. It was this location that was before the turn off to his families land that really caught our eye. Not afraid to admit that it looked like a Mortal Kombat arena, but it did set the mood for this legendary recording for sure. Her legend is just beginning, and her popularity is growing. By this time, Ken has had 2 of her songs, "Pareidolia" and "Cicadas" is the highly acclaimed tv show, and extremely robbed of every Emmy Season, 'Reservation Dogs' by Sterlin Harjo. And had a song featured on the new swinging disaster-fun flick 'Twisters' movie featuring Wilderado and James McAlister. With this kind of attention, any festivals dreaming to have a great folk artist like Ken on their line-up, would be absolutely stupid not to book her for 2025. How could you miss out this? Shamefully, when were about to shoot this video, one of us said, "I can't believe it's taken this long to make a video happen." To which she replied, "Haha, I sent an email to yall like 3 years ago!"
