Uploaded for archiving purposes and ease of access! Created by Paul Berczeller. There's this picture of a girl outside in the snow that crops up every now and then that supposedly shows Takako Konishi (other people say it's the Japanese singer and meme Mogusa Shirose) before she killed herself. In reality, it is actually neither of them and it instead just shows some girl who goes to Yong In University (in one of the photos, she wears a jacket with the university's logo). She has been referred to as 시체녀 or "Corpse Girl" due to her very pale appearance but there really isn't much else to it except for these myths. You can see some pictures and read more about her here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comm... and here: • The Disturbing Part of the Internet [Vol. 2] Some info about Takako Konishi and the documentary: Takako Konishi was a Japanese office lady who was found dead in the snow over in Minnesota on November 15, 2001. Like Corpse Girl, Takako's story has been surrounded by myths, namely that she came to the US to find the hidden treasure from the 1996 film "Fargo," thinking that it was a true story. They made a movie about this premise called "Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter." You can read more about all this on her Wikipedia page. Intrigued by the story, I wanted to watch the documentary by Paul Berczeller that was mentioned in the Wikipedia page. The documentary's page is linked in the "external links" section of the Wikipedia page however, the original page has been taken down so only an archived copy remains. But archived videos are really a hit and miss and it wouldn't play for me! I ended up having to scour the internet to find the documentary and, almost thinking it was lost media, I finally found it on Vimeo, uploaded by Paul Berczeller himself eight years ago. Since it was so hard to find, I decided to reupload it here on YouTube. Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_of_T... Original video link (archived): https://web.archive.org/web/20131104222058... Vimeo link: https://vimeo.com/133031695 4/13/24 Update: Vimeo link is BALEETED. Here's the most recent archive. The video still doesn't work though 🙄: https://web.archive.org/web/20220524092559... Check this out, Paul Berczeller's Vimeo channel had 22 videos on its most recent archive from 2017: https://web.archive.org/web/20170415132136... Currently, his channel only has 8 video now. I wonder what happened... Eh, whatever. At least the video's here for safe keeping! ^^
