**Josh Silverman on bass** **Special thanks to Johnny Busher for providing the audio** This is a concert the Frogs performed at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio in December of 2001. It was their final live performance of the year, and as such, they left it all out on the stage. The crowd was magical--almost everyone was a diehard Frogs fan, singing along to every lyric--and their energy really resonated with and through the band. I had permission from the Frogs to videotape them, as I had previously been in contact with Dennis about possibly making a feature length Frogs documentary. I had met with them a few weeks prior to this, backstage at Club Laga in Pittsburgh, where I had a brief discussion with Dennis about the prospects of said documentary. I also recorded that particular show in Pittsburgh, but was lacking in equipment, so the quality was not as good and I've only saved 3 songs which are now uploaded on Youtube as individual tracks. Life got in the way, and the concert footage sat on the shelf for years, waiting to be edited. Then after Dennis tragically died, I dusted off the old tapes and was determined to create this concert video for Jimmy. I tried several times to reach Jimmy, but he would no longer return my emails as he once had many years before. So I mailed him a DVD copy of the show to his address in Milwaukee, only to find out that he had moved to Texas. Years later, Jimmy started a solo tour, and I took the opportunity to attend his show in Los Angeles back in January of 2019. At the end of the show, I approached Jimmy, handed him the DVD of the Cleveland concert, and briefly chatted about our history, of which he obviously didn't remember--understandable since it had been 18 years since we chatted about the documentary, and most of my contact had been with Dennis and their manager. I gave Jimmy my contact info, and asked him to contact me if he was ever interested in going ahead with the documentary. That was 3 years ago. Since then, I have not heard from Jimmy or anyone associated with the Frogs. So, after 20 years of being "lost", I am finally posting this amazing concert online for all Frogs fans to enjoy. Quality Frogs concerts are few and far in between, as every fan knows. So this is my contribution to the fandom of an amazing, if misunderstood, band. I do not own the rights to this music, and I am not benefitting from this release. I do not collect ad revenue on Youtube. So, any ads you may see are a result of Youtube injecting them onto the video, and do not benefit my channel in any way. I am not trying to take advantage of the Frogs legacy or Jimmy Flemion in any way. I just figure that there's no reason why this concert footage should be held from the fans. Jimmy had more than 3 years to release this for sale, which I had told him was fine with me if he chose to go that route. But the frogsarchive website where they used to sell merchandise has been disabled for more than a decade, and I have no way of knowing if Jimmy is trying to capitalize off this concert by selling it elsewhere. All of that said, I will leave this incredible show on Youtube as long as I can, unless Jimmy Flemion personally asks me to remove it. Until then, I offer it to every Frogs fan, especially those of you who were in attendance in Cleveland that magical evening. Enjoy.
