Two ladies, Jerri and Iraida, were sent home last week. The first date comes as a shock to the girls: it's two girls and one rose! Only one of them will receive the rose and return to villa, while the other will be sent home. The stakes are higher than ever, especially when it's revealed that one girl has been hiding a secret that might affect Spencer's growing feelings for her -- and her place in the competition. The following day, the Bachelor hosts a luxurious champagne picnic for eight ladies in the heart of the picturesque Gorges Du Verdon. The turquoise river Verdon splits the canyon down the middle, and to win the picnic date, the girls are also split into two teams. The teams race each other on rafts. During a white-knuckle ride through the limestone ravine, the sport brings out the tension that's been simmering between the warring camps. As the competition gets fierce, some of women can't resist showing their teeth. This unsporting behavior leads the Bachelor to question some of the ladies' motives. There are tough decisions to be made as Spencer tries to determine who is in the competition to win his heart and who is just in it to win. On the third date, Spencer invites three girls to get away from it all. A stunning mountain hike through alpine meadows and an overnight date in a gorgeous log cabin couldn't be any more romantic! The champagne flows, the fire crackles and the intimacy heats up as the lucky ladies and Spencer have a pajama party. The fun, flirting and frolics lead to some eyebrow-raising revelations! Finally, in the rose ceremony, one of the women finds out that she is out of the competition, leaving 11 single ladies to stay and continue the fight for the Bachelor's heart.
