Nótt is an immersive and generative installation that explores the theme of sleep by blending science, data, and poetry. Nótt transposes the experience of sleep into a real-time audiovisual work, using electroencephalogram (EEG) data captured from a subject over the course of a full night. Each night is different, and each person generates their own unique path. Based on the signals from a full sleep cycle lasting between seven and nine hours, the viewer is invited to wander and contemplate the evolution of the patient’s night.
