It started with an amazing truck dinner, juicy beef steak with rice. Simple, fast, healthy… and unbelievably soft. I love cooking in the truck, even if the freezing weather tried to fight my gas stove again 😅 After loading yoghurt for București, Romania, I was excited. Lately I’d been driving mostly to Holland and Belgium, so going home felt special. Little did I know… I was heading straight into the biggest snow of the winter. Only 20 km left to unload; but the highways near București were completely blocked. What should’ve been a short drive turned into 9 hours. I had 4 hours of driving time left… and I still overworked by more than 5 hours. No chance to stop. Snow everywhere. If I stopped, I wouldn’t move the next day. My truck was sliding left and right with the light cargo, stressful, intense… but somehow mesmerizing. At one point, people were even building a snowman on the highway while we were stuck 🥲😅 The next day? Total chaos. Every truck in the area showed up at once. Definitely a week to remember.
