🎸 Locally we've know Henk Wesselink for his raunchy rock-'n-roll in the form of 'Money & The Man' for a while, but we're very happy to welcome him to his first TFOA Session with the first single from his brand new solo-project. Bearing the name 'Henk Johannes', he's fittingly taken a more personal approach to his new music. He wants to tell new stories, broaden his musical horizon, and challenge himself with new styles. Henk writes honest, clear lyrics that listeners can relate to and identify with. He believes in experiencing music together and creating one’s own stories. With that in mind, this might be the perfect release to get yourself introduced to his music. We're incredibly pleased with this session, not only because it sounds so great, but because the song is such a treat as well. Henk knows how to strum a guitar and makes this SJ200 sing like no other, his voice sitting perfectly atop the luscious tones. Hubert compliments this wonderfully with the dry & woody sound of a '52 Gibson SJ, all whilst Jim fills in the gaps with his backing vocals and beautiful pedal steel lines. We hope this recording lets you experience at least half of the fun we had filming this session.
