Centering our Black Youth Now | SisterSong Giving Season

We don't just give to improve the current conditions of our community, we give for the children and youth of the future that will one day continue the legacy of the sixteen organizations that came together across Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and Asian Pacific Islander communities with one shared truth: we are stronger together. Bajha Jordan, our Youth Coordinator, works with young people of color to center their needs, whether they are in need of abortion, maternal care, birthing items, or providing a safe space to share their stories. Our young parents and leaders are on the front lines advocating for fair housing, education access, and healthcare reform. Our youth will one day be our leaders, driving policy and culture forward towards change. Centering them now secures justice for our future. This Giving Season recognizes Birth Justice, Maternal Health, Food Justice, and Environmental Justice as issues that affect our youth in unique ways.
