This video documents my trip from Vermont to Chicago to pick up my mint M1028 A2 Dually CUCV. I then travelled to Ohio to visit a friend who helped me work on it, then traveled to Halifax, PA to se John from The Hillbilly Wizard shop, who is one of the top specialists in the country for these types of vehicles. I have been dealing with John for a few years. Bought a lot of parts for my M1009 Blazer. He dropped everything when I arrived and had three guys working nonstop over two days to finish a punch list of items, including new front Yukon Grizzly lockers and hubs. I also interviewed him about the business and what he has to offer. Full disclosure - other than great service, I recived no special pricing on anything. I am just extremely impressed by his can do, positive attitude and professionalism. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of these vehicles, and was able to educate me about mine.
