Our Adoption Story-Bringing Oliver Home

Bringing our son home from China 🇨🇳 Hope this brings you joy if you are on your journey! It's worth it! UPDATE November/2020: I've had several requests for an update, so here ya go! =) Olly is just amazing. We've had him now for a three and a half years and he has adjusted so well to our family. He loves being a brother and our little girl, Georgia, loves being his sister. They are "virtual twins" (5 months apart) and it's always interesting at our house with two 6 year olds for sure. Honestly though, it's like he's always been here. He's had one surgery here on his bilateral clubfoot and is doing very well with his arthrogryposis (which effects both feet, hands, and shoulders.) He's in school and is the most popular kid there. haha! He has looooots of friends, but with his happy personality, it's no surprise. He can write his name, which we thought he might not be able to do. He's such a determined little guy and now that we've gotten to know him, we've learned he will be able to do whatever he wants in life! Thanks so much for the support and I hope this is encouraging for those of you who are in the process or who are newly home. Even good adjustments can be tough at times and time is your friend.
