Focus Group Discussions can help develop communication skills within a group. We are currently discussing the evaluation of study program curricula in terms of courses, support programs outside the classroom, and the development of soft skills for students. These discussions are taking place within the faculty community at a university, involving figures such as the Dean, lecturers, students, alumni, and industry representatives who have a close relationship with the study program to support student work experience opportunities in industry. We are not only discussing the importance of work experience for students, whether in the form of internships or other opportunities. We also discussed the critical deepening of knowledge and the deepening of theory that can be adapted for application in the real world. The focus group discussion will provide an overview and short- and long-term goals to enable us to change the younger generation of graduates of this study program so that they can gain a deeper understanding of theory and apply their knowledge in the professional world.
