A fragrant rice dish along with the goodness of raisins and cashew nuts give a royal touch to this Pulao recipe. Unique flavours with a sugary touch makes this dish a must try at home. This is the main rice dish of choice for any special occasion. Among the side dishes served with basanti pulao, kosha mangsho is the most popular. Ingredients:- Gobindobhog rice - 250gm. Cardamom - 4 Clove - 6 Turmeric powder -1 tsp. Sugar - 2 tbsp. Salt to taste Ginger paste - 1 tsp. Ghee/clarified butter - 4 tbsp. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp. Bay leaf - 2 Cashew nuts - 25gm. Raisin - 25gm. Hot water - 500gm.
