As before, I have an FAQ Pastebin for this run since there's a lot to cover with this run: https://pastebin.com/miU1U3Xi So here we are, almost 2 years ago I completed my last Blue Rescue Team Recruit em All Speedrun and it became the most viewed thing on my channel ever. With a sub goal to run this again being recently met, and knowing that my gameplay has surely improved over the past 2 years, it was time for me to run this category for the 4th time. I have the main time listed as the gameplay time since we are allowed breaks for this long category, which thank god we do or else this would not be entertaining whatsoever. My final gameplay time was 58:03:39, and my full RTA time was 85:01:12, which was 3 sleep breaks of around 9 hours each. This means I beat my previous PB by 9 and a half hours gameplay time (about 67 hours) and a whopping 13 hours RTA-wise (about 98 hours). From this point on is going to be spoilers about what happened during the run, so be warned! Some notable highlights about this run were: -Item luck was great early on again. Got a lot of what I needed fairly reasonably. -REALLY fast fish recruits, didn't even bother with a 2nd Magikarp either. -Legendaries were ok, certain ones were bad but many others were first or second try. -Recruit Spam was fairly good. -Evo grinding went much faster than before thanks to a bit more efficient Joy Seed usage. -Got both Sun Stones from Solar Cave on the first visit, and while it took a couple visits I was able to get all the other evo items I needed from Wish Cave reasonably thanks to Trawl Orb strats. -Honestly no huge mistakes throughout this run! Finally this run had gotten to 4 days thanks to some improvements in the route and better playing, but there's still improvement to go with this run: -Articuno, Rayquaza, and Deoxys were all slow to finally recruit. -Mew took 3 complete visits of Buried Relic (got on 84F of 3rd visit), but on that trip I lost a Makuhita and Regirock to 2 separate Pitfall Traps. -Didn't get Pidgey nor Exeggcute again, although I didn't grind for them as much as before. -Slow Any% again, although it doesn't affect the run that much. -IQ Grinding got a bit messed up with me making a bunch of mistakes of where to go and what to do, but luckily the new strats made it faster than before. This run was honestly amazing to achieve. I wanted sub-60 hours and I'm really happy to have gotten it. If / When I do this again, I'm not sure if I'll be able to PB by anywhere near this much again.
