This video is about the Kandy to Colombo afternoon Intercity Express train. I captured a full train ride on this train from Kandy to Colombo. Train Number is 1010. On this day this Intercity Express is hauled by a Newly repainted Class M6 797 Henschel Diesel Locomotive. Recently this locomotive is repainted with old vintage M6 Intercity Colour livery by the two railfans. Those two railway lovers sponsored for paints for this work. Now Locomotive gets a vintage and classic look due to that great work.
