CS visits Ladakh Model School, appreciates Education Deptt for running regular classes in winter

The Chief Secretary visited Ladakh Model Middle School, Ibex Colony, where he inspected classrooms, reviewed educational facilities, and attended the closing ceremony of winter tuition classes. He appreciated the Education department for running the regular classes in winters when other schools are closed for winter vocation. He appreciated the staff for enrollment increase from 8 students to 180 students. Speaking on the occasion Administrative Secretary, School Education, Bhanu Prabha said that UT Administration proposed to make 55 more schools across Ladakh and she also expressed her satisfaction over the successful running a regular classes in winter vocation. She briefed CS on the journey of the Middle School Ibex Colony to Ladakh Model School. On the occasion, students presented a cultural programme.
