With London Fashion Week in full swing, here’s a recap from our London Fashion Week RÆBURN 15 | RETROSPECTIVE back in September, 2024. Curated by visual storyteller Harris Elliott, RÆBURN 15 | RETROSPECTIVE charted the breadth from our embryonic beginnings as a radical experiment that went on to impact the fashion industry as a whole. The retrospective was the first of its kind, welcoming close to a thousand visitors over four days, with many of the exhibits never having been seen in public before. The RÆBURN 15 | RETROSPECTIVE was marked by nine chapters: IGNITE: Early and unexpected inspirations are formed in the Kent countryside, Middlesex university and Royal College of Art DISRUPT: The Remade in England concept is born and takes its first experimental steps at London Fashion Week. PREPARE: A decade-long partnership with visual artist Thomas Zanon-Larcher opens the curtain to a backstage world and the build-up to show time. DEPLOY: RÆBURN on the catwalk as the world wakes up to Responsible Design as a much needed part of the fashion ecosystem. REFINE: Selected case studies focus on ideation, evolution and refinement within material innovation and methods of make SCALE: How the right partnerships can make a difference at a global scale. INSPIRE: Spotlights on the sterling work of others pioneering in their fields. FUTURE: A glimpse into what the next chapter might look like for our business and beyond...
