3rd Sunday in Advent, Luke

Welcome to Open Hearts! Thank you for joining us as we continue our journey through Advent, preparing our hearts and minds for the good news of Christmas in a few short weeks. As we follow our sermon series, "What do You Fear?: Insisting on Hope Instead", we reach our 3rd week of Advent lighting the candle of joy, and then diving into Luke 1:26-39, the call of Mary. This is a special week for us because we have guest preacher, Rev. Tica Green. As you will hear, Tica is incredibly gifted and uses her talents through the community. Tica recieved her MDiv from Duke University, after graduating from Greensboro College. She currently serves as the Director of Academic Success at Greensboro College AND is currently earning her Doctorate in Ministries at Wake Forest School of Divinity. Most weeks we have communion with our service. If you would like to participate in communion with your service, you can have your own juice and bread as you watch.
