The Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday was the first watch to be sold through social media exclusively and it has proven to be a huge success with all 2012 pieces sold in less than 5 hours with close to 8000 people on the waiting list. It was also the first Speedmaster to feature a reverse panda dial, brushed case, applied steel Omega logo and radial numbers on the chronograph subdials. The watch was also sold in a leather watch pouch with an extra nato strap, strap changing tool and a polishing cloth. The Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday pays homage to the Alaska Project III watch from 1978 bringing together vintage and contemporary design in a never-before-seen packaging.
