A total of 17 places across seven states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, are being searched by the investigation agency. The Bengaluru City Police had originally registered the case following the seizure of arms and ammunition, including seven pistols, four hand grenades, one magazine and 45 live rounds, and four walkie-talkies in July last year. In July 2023, five people were arrested, and their interrogation led to the arrest of one more, taking the total arrests in the case to six. The LeT operative and kingpin, T Naseer, radicalised these five people in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Junaid Ahmed, who is also an accused in the case, is at large. Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Explosion Live Updates: At least nine people were injured in a blast at the popular cafe in Bengaluru's Brookefield area. Police briefed Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah that the blast was caused by an IED, sources told India Today TV.
