Playing with Layers: Abstract Circle Art in Pink + Blue

In this video, I’m painting another set of wonky concentric circles using Masha’s beautiful watercolors and a pink-and-blue palette I pulled from The Color Cube. I started with layered watercolor washes, then added details and texture with my Blackwing Matte pencil, Kuretake gold ink, Neocolor II pastels, and some acrylic markers. This was such a fun way to explore color, movement, and mark making. If you enjoy abstract art, intuitive painting, or building up layers with mixed media, I think you’ll really enjoy this one.
