In this video we formally introduce our Centurion AVRE that served during the Gulf War (Operation Granby). We take a detailed look over the vehicle, fit the dozer blade, and head inside the turret to show how this remarkable piece of military engineering works. However, things quickly take a turn when we investigate a long-standing issue — engine smoke. What starts as a routine check soon escalates into compression testing, spark plug removal, and the discovery of a serious internal engine failure. A failed valve seat means the engine will now need to be fully removed and stripped for repair… but that raises a big question: Do we rebuild the original engine, or replace it with another unit entirely? TIME IS MY BIGGEST ISSUE.
