Moab, Utah gave us that warm feeling (literally). That “I’m ready to adventure” feeling. That “I’ve been here before and I’m in love” feeling. There are two national parks in the Moab area: Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. This week, we’re focused on Canyonlands. You've seen it before, the most epic sunrise hike at Mesa Arch. Despite the number of people perched in front of the arch, it was 100% worth it. As soon as the sun rose, it cleared out and we were left almost completely alone as the sun formed a haze of light over the red rocks. UGH. We spent the rest of our time here hopping around from overlooks like Green River Overlook, Grand View Point, and Shafer Canyon. We also did the Upheaval Dome trail and Whale Rock. Every ounce of Island in the Sky is perfect (for reference, this park has 4 districts, and Island in the Sky is one of them).
