This custom ring, “Dusk,” began with a titanium ring blank and a vision of that magical moment when the sky shifts from blue to night. I carefully inlaid crushed opal into the channel, placing each piece by hand to create depth, contrast and that unmistakable fire. Once the opal was set, the real work began: Sanding. And more sanding. And then polishing. And more polishing. Layer by layer, the surface was refined until the opal came alive with flashes of electric green, ember red, and deep violet dancing against the cool strength of titanium. Every ring like this is a balance of patience and precision. Titanium for durability, opal for drama, and lots of time shaping and refining so it’s smooth, seamless, and ready to wear and love for years to come.
