Visiting San Felipe, Baja, Mexico in our Travel Trailer

Week 2 - Our first stop in Baja, Mexico is the gorgeous beaches of San Felipe and an RV park with palapas! After crossing the border, we drove the 2.5 hours from Mexicali to San Felipe for our first stop. We found a great camping spot at La Palapa RV Camp and settled in for a couple weeks. We had a great time hanging out on the beach, which was right in our backyard, as well as walking in to San Felipe's Malecon, which is a street right on the waterfront that has a bunch of restaurants, bars and street vendors. Our favorite restaurant was Taco Factory, which is where we watched Super Bowl 52. You really can't beat chips and salsa and a cold beer in Mexico! We took to the sea with Captain Queso for a couple of fishing expeditions. We caught several days worth of fish and surprisingly all the kids loved having a fish fry. This is definitely a town we will be back to!
