As our music business expanded, we began issuing newsletters called "Phantom Phacts." This is one of the releases we produced in video in 1990. It was an interesting time, we (Chris and Martin Theophilus - Phantom Productions, Inc. Directors) had both left safe, secure, but frustrating state employment. Phantom was being run part time and now we were full time and juggling music management/production, the developing ACC Commercial Music program, documenting hot ballooning events and traveling to France and the UK. This is a moment in time with our artists: Mark Luke Daniels; Tracy (now Tracie) Lynn; Linden Sherwin; James Hinkle (who'd become Marcia ball's lead guitarist); all in the US and John Cambridge in England managed by David Case who managed Phantom UK. David, in addition to the music business, managed a computer and animation company. We were even taking on the management of Skull Duggery, a heavy metal band. At the same time we were representing Texas and some US artists at the MIDEM international music conference in Cannes, France. It was exhausting, fun, challenging and a wonderful time to be developing new artists. We're glad we did what we did during that time. It was a simpler time! Austin, 6th Street and the music business is a totally different world now!
