With the Chaos Daemons all but confirmed to be returning to the Warp and no longer forming part of the 40k meta, we wanted to have another run out before they're put to pasture, and who else to face but the pointy eared Aeldari with their tasty tasty souls in a Chaos Daemons vs Aeldari Battle Report! UKTC Terrain for a more competitive matchup today with Round 1 scenario from the Tournament Mission pack. In the purple corner, 2000 points of Aspect Host Aeldari. Avatar of Khaine, Fire Dragons, War Walkers, Howling Banshees, Warp Spiders (10 attacks of the exarch? 10?!), Dire Avengers and Swooping Hawks, with support Guardian Defenders, Wave Sepents and Falcon Tank. Asurmen, Fuegan and Baharroth help out for character support, it's an all singing all dancing glass hammer of destruction that wants to grab board presence right from the off and make sure it hits first, and hits hard! Let's see how they match up against Daemons of all shapes and sizes. In the Daemonic corner from Daemonland, The Warp, we have potentially the last march of the Chaos Daemons as a mono build army. Representing Khorne Skarbrand, 3 massive blobs of Bloodcrushers, 2 Bloodmaster of Skull Thrones and some Bloodletters led by the Skullmaster. Tzeench represents with the Changeling to try and cause some mischief as always, as well as a small blob of Screamers for board control. No Slaanesh for today but the Great Unclean one with 10 poxwalkers round out the list. We will be trying to get a game out with the new detatchment to see how crazy we can make things, hopefully before the codexes squat them! 2000 points of 10th Edition, ancient foes, carnage, chaos destruction, it's what we love.
