Train of Love musical event in Berlin 2022 was witnessed by sea of people in Berlin on 27.08.2022. It featured cool DJs on the trucks and dancers grooving into the music on the streets. Be a part of this event with this video. This is Part 2 of 2 series, and in this part we take you to the climax of this event until the very end. There is also part 1 of this video which is the beginning of this event. In 2005, Joyce Mohan, a dancer for the Berlin street performance troups entitled her performance number “Train of Love”. She described her performance as follows: “Our Train of Love moves through streets and squares with our dancers cutting across them in a choreography inspired by trains passing by at rush hour on a city square. We move fast and rhythmically to represent the speed at which trains pass on a city square at rush hour. In our choreography, we move with punctual precision... We represent time itself with our movement” She concluded her essay by stating that she was inspired by trains while creating her performance number because they “move us quickly from one place to another . . . an idea we can transform into movement” . In 2019, Berlin street performance artists used the number to create a train of performers that rolled into the city . Dancers from thirteen different countries joined together to perform one song continuously for twelve hours in front of Berlin’s Reichstag parliament building. The performers wore protective gear such as helmets and earmuffs to protect themselves from injuries while performing their song on top of moving vehicles. They performed under the name “12 Hours Fast Trains Across Europe” since they began their performance in Paris and ended it in Berlin twelve hours later. This unique event brought together international performers to celebrate unity through movement as they represented trains moving people from one place to another.
