Deep End Canada (www.deependcanada.org) aims to support members by hosting an ongoing Learning Series, to which we will invite speakers to discuss topics such as health equity, primary health care, social data and use, data governance, anti-poverty organizing, advocacy, and taking action on the social determinants of health. Our second session is titled: Governance of demographic and social needs data: Lessons from the St. Michael’s Hospital Academic Family Health Team. We hear from a panel of family physicians and members of the Health Equity Questionnaire Data Working Group at the St. Michael’s Hospital Academic Family Health Team in Toronto. The panel, moderated by Dr. Archna Gupta, includes Dr. Noor Ramji, Nassim Vahidi-Williams, and Talia Levitt, speaking about their work collecting and using sociodemographic data in primary care and researching data governance in primary care settings.
