This recording features a members-only spotlight session hosted by the Atlanta Black Chambers, highlighting Spades Life Marketplace, an innovative Black-owned platform founded by ABC member Pamela Chance, CEO of Spades Life Marketplace. During this special session, Atlanta Black Chambers President & CEO Melvin Coleman welcomes members and introduces the vision behind Spades Life Marketplace—a searchable cultural marketplace designed to keep Black dollars circulating longer within the community. Built to function like Amazon or Etsy, the platform allows users to search by product or service and discover Black-owned businesses in one centralized, easy-to-use marketplace. This presentation was part of the Atlanta Black Chambers’ ongoing commitment to elevating member businesses by providing a platform to share tools, resources, and strategies directly with the ABC community. Members in attendance received a walkthrough of the marketplace, onboarding guidance for product sellers and service providers, and insight into how Spades Life removes financial barriers to participation through free seller subscriptions and low-cost service listings. The conversation also connects to The Blackest Black Friday Ever, a community call to action encouraging intentional spending within the Black community to demonstrate the true power of Black buying power and support long-term economic sustainability. These member spotlight sessions are one of the ways the Atlanta Black Chambers supports visibility, collaboration, and economic growth for Black-owned businesses across Atlanta and beyond.
