Buy an Autophix 7310/9310 here: https://rangeyparts.com/product/autop... In this video, I show you how to replace the electronic parking brake (EPB) motor on the Range Rover L405 and L494. If your Range Rover won’t move, especially in cold or wet weather, the EPB motor is a very common failure. Water gets inside the motor, it freezes or seizes, and the handbrake won’t release. This video covers: – How to identify whether your car needs the 2-pin or 3-pin EPB motor – The correct part numbers (LR036573 and LR102237) – How to safely release the electronic handbrake using a diagnostic tool – Removing the old EPB motor and fitting the new one – Cleaning and sealing the mounting area to prevent repeat failure – Re-applying and testing the handbrake correctly Early cars typically use the 3-pin EPB motor, while later cars use the 2-pin version. If your car is around the 2016 changeover, check the connector before ordering. The job itself is straightforward once the handbrake is released, but you will need a diagnostic tool that supports electronic parking brake service mode. I demonstrate the process using an Autophix diagnostic reader.
