So if you saw part 1, you already know I had no oil cooler as I had a leaky oil line and had to bypass it to continue driving. Now I've finally been able to plug the microphone in the engine bay properly and we can all be treated to the raw sound of the engine. It's my favorite thing on the whole car. What do you think? But of course, the overheating issue still was going on. And I was frustrated. Frustrated after over half a decade waiting to be able to enjoy driving my car in anger. And because I had to keep an eye on the oil temperature gauge, I wasn't able to enjoy or concentrate on properly driving... which will have the consequences you will see if you watch it entirely. It doesn't look like much, and in a way it wasn´t. I don't usually make a mistake big enough to go all four tires off the tarmac, but I guess it was one of those days... This was enough to get black flagged (I had decided to stop after this lap, anyway), and now it was time to bring the car home, which I did, to fix the oil cooler issue, and to prepare some worn items before deciding what track we'll tackle next.
