It's chemically resistant so it's able to be used with caustic, acid, oxidizing agents and a wide range of other chemical cleaners and sanitisers. The main benefit of this device is that it's ideally suited to breweries systems that have small pumps. Typically other CIP devices require much larger pressures and volume of liquid to drive the CIP device. This one on the other hand works very well with even a low powered 6 watt pump. The secret to this CIP device working so efficiently is that it directly 100% of the energy of the jet into a single direction at a time. As the head moves it randomly targets different areas of the vessel gradually working its way around the tank and covering all sided. The jets also work in overhangs such as lids that are typically hard to do well with small systems that have smaller pumps.
