The Skimobile Express at Cranmore New Hampshire is a detachable quad that runs to the summit of Cranmore Mountain. The chairlift replaces a double chair of the called North, which replaced a unique single-person cart that ran in two parts to the summit. That lift was called the "Skimobile", and was constructed during the first year of the mountain opening back in 1938. The current lift to the summit was built in the days of Les Otten in the 1990s, it is the workhorse lift of the resort. The quad still retains the "Skimoible" monicker, and has an hourly capacity of three-thousand riders per-hour. It has Doppelmayr UNI terminals from 1995, with a UNI-M terminal at the bottom, and a UNI-S at the top. Despite it being one of the older detachable quads found in New England, it is actually kept in great condition. Recently, it went through at million dollar "full modernization" in 2020, and almost the entire lift's functions were overhauled. Some of the updated systems include a re-built drive, updated controls (to a modern 4-CLD), most tower sheaves replaced, carrier marking, multiple operator tablets on either side, and replaced operator shacks.
