60th Anniversary Open Day

A year ago today (4th July), Withernsea High School opened its doors to over 3,000 of its former staff and students for what turned out to be the largest event in its history. The event was staged to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the school as well as provide a final opportunity for visitors to take a look around their old school ahead of the majority of the site being demolished. This video, featuring footage filmed by A-level Media Studies students, captures some of the highlights of the day, including a performance of the school song.
