Probably the lowest quality tape I've posted here so far, but a very important historical document. Part of this was released already on the D. Boon & Friends compilation album, now here's the full thing. Apparently this was filmed for some French tv programme, but the footage hasn't surfaced yet as far as I can tell. George couldn't make it to this gig so Richard Derrick filled in for him, and on top of that both Derrick and Boon were coming down with the flu. All of that makes for a very short, but interesting set. For starters we have a unique jam which I've elected to call the Fake George Jam on account of Watt's introduction. We've also got the only confirmed performance of God Bows to Math without Please Don't Be Gentle With Me. Also the first known performance of Badges, and the last known performances of Self-Referenced and #1 Hit Song. It's Expected I'm Gone and Themselves are pretty rare as well. Notable also is the lack of Little Man With a Gun in His Hand. 01. 00:50 Fake George Jam 02. 02:13 Corona 03. 04:34 I Felt Like a Gringo 04. 06:20 God Bows to Math 05. 07:32 It's Expected I'm Gone 06. 09:23 Mr. Robot's Holy Orders 07. 11:43 Cut 08. 13:50 Retreat 09. 15:35 Badges 10. 16:18 There Ain't Shit on T.V.
