For some time I wanted to construct an antenna that could be used for both civilian and military radios on multiple frequencies. Having a way to attach and detach the antenna elements can help using this antenna in multiple bands and it makes a perfect mobile antenna that can be hoisted from the center using poles or by paracord from a tree or building. Thank you to all who help me get this project on the way. The Ham community was very helpful to me especially with the soldering part of it. Update 14 December 2021 I have made three separate leads (antennas) to operate at 6 Meter, 10 Meter and 20 Meter all with a low SWR (about 1.3). I might make a video making the 40 Meter elements. I realized that finding the PVC parts can be challenging in some areas. Thanks to one of the comments (Frank) here are the links to get the PVC parts if you are interrested. I am not affiliated. Just want to help you make your build easier. Tee 1" 1" 1 1/2" https://www.supplyhouse.com/sh/contro... Plugs 1" https://www.supplyhouse.com/sh/contro... It has survived 2 winters in Northern NY and I will be setting it up in Florida.
