Waves get a lot bigger throughout the course of the video Once upon a time, a large, long period west swell hit Santa Barbara's point breaks just right, with almost no wind. This surf spot was barreling and heavy as I had ever seen it, with the occasional well-overhead set that closed out the entire point. Ran out with my GoPro Session 5 and an old 5'8 FireWire Dominator (with a crack in the front hence the tape.) Even though I felt significantly under gunned, I managed to pick off some of the bombs of the day. Soon after my GoPro Ran out of battery, I took a solid set on the head and broke my surfboard in half. Came back later with a bigger board and surfed a couple more. Raw Edit.
