an EasingStyle is used to control the motion of an animation. here is an example of all of the styles: • Easing Styles EasingDirection - Out - the easing style is applied in a reverse direction EasingDirection - InOut - the easing style moves forward for the first half and in reverse for the second half ------------------------------------ 🩵FAQ🩵 ------------------------------------ Q: i followed the tutorial, but it's not working A: make sure there are no typos/capitalization errors and that everything is referenced correctly! small things like that will break a script entirely. checking the script output can help find & fix issues like this. also, multiple parts named the same thing can cause an infinite yield since the game doesn't know which one you're trying to reference. if everything checks out and you're still having an issue, explain it in the comments and i'll try to help the best i can! ------------------------------------ Q: are you open for commissions? A: no, sorry. but if you have a recommendation for a video you'd like to see, you can leave it in the comments! ------------------------------------ Q: what are the option bars on the sides? A: a plugin called F3X building tools! you can get it here: https://create.roblox.com/store/asset... ------------------------------------ Q: how did you learn to script? A: i learned from watching videos like this one! what i would do is look up something i wanted to make, follow the tutorial, and study the code. basically, you just have to memorize what will trigger X to happen, once you learn that, try messing around with code & piecing together things you've learned. from there you can start creating your own scripts! if you're a beginner, try looking up how to code something simple, like a flickering light or making a sound play when a part is touched. once you learn the basics, you can work your way up from there. it may seem difficult to understand at first, but i promise that if i can do it, so can you! once i had a basic understanding of lua, the devforum and roblox creator learning website became very helpful in fixing coding issues i had! (yt comments under tutorials can help too!) AlvinBlox, RKGAM3ZS and DatBoiEle are some great channels that helped me learn a lot. I also recommend BrawlDev's guide on how to code in Studio (best for when youve already been practicing coding, since his tutorial can get a bit confusing quickly) one last tip; something i do that helps me a lot is keeping a notes folder dedicated to different scripts. some i made myself and others from tutorials on youtube. it can help especially beginners since if there's something you've forgotten how to do, you can probably find it there! ofc, don't take what i say as 'the ultimate advice'. this is just what personally helped me improve! ------------------------------------ support me: https://www.roblox.com/catalog?taxono... some of my games/showcases: https://www.roblox.com/users/31997787...!#creations ------------------------------------ #roblox #animation #robloxstudio #tutorial #robloxgamedesign
