Košljun – the small island gem near the island of Krk. It makes up for its small size with its lush nature and rich heritage. Its formation is depicted in the legend of two brothers: instead of the ocean, there was a field owned by a seeing and a blind brother. They worked together but the blind brother always ended up with less during harvest. So God punished the seeing brother by flooding the field and his house, while the blind brother’s house was spared. The land underneath the house is now known as the island of Košljun.
