Bollywood director Rajiv Rai talks about late actress Divya Bharti

Rajiv Raj says "When I first introduced Divya Bharti, at that stage she had taken on an assignment in the south. Which was a training ground for her, which really helped make up my mind about her." Rajiv Rai was born in 1955 in Bombay, India. He is a director and writer, known for Gupt: The Hidden Truth (1997), Mohra (1994) and Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001). He is married to Sonam. They have one child. Was threatened by the Mumbai underworld gangs after his success in Mohra and Gupt. He was told to leave the film industry but he is still pursuing his career. Rajiv Rai was working on a Hollywood film, which went on floors early 2006. The big budget flick was a period film from English History, a true story set in London between 1910 and 1940. 90 per cent of the film was to be shot in the UK, and the remaining portions were to be shot in India. The film had several characters of which only one was an Indian, however, an Indian actor was not be cast for that role either. The cast and crew were mainly comprised of English and American people.
