Dave McEachern, who is a farmer in the London area of Southern Ontario, will speak in depth about what soil health is and how he is building the health of his soil for future generations. Mike Buttenham is the Sustainability and Environment Coordinator for Grain Farmers of Ontario. He obtained his Honours Bachelors of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo in Geography and Environmental Management. Mike is also an Envirothon alumni; participating at the regional level in Guelph, Ontario. Within his role at Grain Farmers of Ontario he works with farmers and value chain partners to understand the complexity of environmental factors surrounding grain production and develop pro-active win-win solutions.
