During one of my visits to Germany, we did some adventures. We went to Phantasialand on a very nice autumn day, after the kids were back in school and the season was winding down. So there was very little in the way of crowds and ride queues were short or nonexistent. It is a very fun park, with lots of detail to each of the areas. I actually liked the fact that the park was small and easy to move around in. I appreciate how many of the rides are intertwined with the guest paths and the hotels, because it increases immersion while also saving real estate in the park's small footprint. We rode several thrill rides, rode some more sedate rides, and saw the "Nobis" show, which was very entertaining and amazingly well-produced. Their Haunted Mansion knockoff was hilariously terrible, though. The "F.L.Y." coaster was the very first thing we did after exiting the hotel, and it was amazing. I still don't understand what "F.L.Y." stands for, though? Some good ideas:   / what_does_f_l_y_actually_mean   Also included: A jaunt to Cologne to ride the gondola across the Rhine, and some icebergs visible during the flight home. I edited this film on iMovie while on the flight home, and the process of adding text to the video was very onerous. That app still needs more usability fixes.
