Painting Farm Animals from Model Power

In the 1950's Denmark was still very much an agricultural country with about half the population occupied in the sector. This is where this paint-it-yourself set from Model Power (5793 Animals) comes in handy because I will need a lot of farm animals for my coming layout. Cows were (and are still) extremely important in Danish dairy farming and although rapid mechanization was underway in the 1950's horses were still a factor to be reckoned with for many small holders. Sheep and goats have always been far less common in Denmark but the figures were part of the Model Power-set and they add welcomed variety to the scenery.
