Today, I saw something that stopped me in my tracks. As a Black Deaf man, I found it deeply insulting — and dangerous — to see political narratives suggesting that white people are the true victims of job discrimination in America. This video is not about hate. It’s about truth. For generations, Black people, Deaf people, and disabled people have had to fight for access to education, employment, accommodations, and basic dignity in the workplace. Those barriers didn’t disappear — and pretending they did only erases lived experience. In this video, I explain why rewriting history harms real people, why equality does not mean ignoring the past, and why accountability matters more than comfort. This message is shared in ASL-friendly pacing to ensure clarity and accessibility. If this resonates with you, please like, comment, and share. Respectful dialogue is welcome. Erasure is not.
