Since turning 16, I've recorded myself the day before my birthday. Now that I'm turning 19, I went back and watched those old videos. In them, I saw my 16-year-old self worrying about the future, my 17-year-old self saying I wasn't ready, and my 18-year-old self chasing hollow motivation. Which is why this is the year I work on myself. I'm coming of age, and I'm not backing down any longer. This video is about growing up, turning 19, and what it means to make the last year of being a teenager count. Because... Maybe the expectations I feared at 16 are a part of growth. Maybe the hesitation I felt at 17 needs to be channeled into action. Maybe the motivation I had at 18 is turning into discipline.
