Go to my official cool website https://www.radwalls.com to get the album! On Hollow Towers is a retelling of the story of life through it's own metaphor. The character starts as a young boy, snapped into consciousness fishing on a barge. Slowly, but surely he is surrounded by the mist and fog. He becomes numb, but in the water he see's a clear sky reflection-- somehow obscured by the fog. He knows there is just one way out of this place--to climb up the massive monolithic stairwell behind him. And so he pushes himself to get up. Escape is calling. He won't waste his time sitting there on the barge any longer and starts to climb. Along the way, the mist follows him up. That mist, which seems alive, swallows every step that he leaves behind. He's not going back down now. On his hollow tower journey, he wonders what is at the top. How does the rusted tower stay standing even though it floats on the water? Has time stopped? As he climbs he gets older, and when he eventually reaches the top he is no longer young. And there, at the top, he links hands with his love and rises beyond. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wrote this song as a way of describing my human experience. My love has always been calling me from the top of that tower and when I found her, I finally felt complete.
