https://philmcgarrick.co.uk "We're All Alone" is a song written by Boz Scaggs, which became a 1977 top-ten hit for Rita Coolidge in the US and the UK. Scaggs introduced it on his 1976 album Silk Degrees. The song was first a hit for Frankie Valli. Scaggs included it as the B-side of two of the four single releases from that LP, including "Lido Shuffle." I recently heard a great guitar cover of this song on YouTube by my friend Ian Wilson • WE'RE ALL ALONE and I liked it so much that I gave it a go ! Many thanks Ian for the inspiration and your arrangement ! Played on my Alan Brason Custom Stratocaster fitted with Kinman FV-HMS Pickups on Neck Position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP Patch 0-36. Sound recorded in Cubase SX 6 and edited with the three 4K video takes in Sony Vegas Pro 14. The BT I used was Boz Scaggs version from Custom Karaoke Version here :- https://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/cus... I made Tabs out which are FREE to download here :- https://philmcgarrick.co.uk Please enjoy “We’re all alone” And yes I’ve had my hair cut at last ! Lyrics Outside the rain begins And it may never end So cry no more, on the shore a dream Will take us out to sea Forevermore, forevermore Close your eyes and dream And you can be with me 'Neath the waves, through the caves of hours Gone, forgotten now We're all alone, we're all alone Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin Learn how to pretend Once a story's told It can't help but grow old Roses do, lovers too, so cast Your seasons to the wind And hold me dear, oh, hold me dear Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin All's forgotten now We're all alone, all alone Close the window, calm the light And it will be all right No need to bother now Let it out, let it all begin Owe it to the wind, my love, hold me dear All's forgotten now, my love We're all alone
