If you click and drag an employee then open the esc menu and retry the day while still holding the employee, the employee will become duplicated. (The glitch won’t work with Memory Repo since the employee will be unselected when the prompt comes up). In order to keep the duplicated employee start the day to save the game. This can be done as many times as you want as long as you make sure to save the game so they are kept. Any duplicated employees will remain through multiple days and retries and will act essentially the same as normal employees independent from any of their clones. Department Continued Service benefits will also be kept for both employees, making it possible to have multiple captains in one team. With Plague Doctor, only the originally blessed employee will turn into an apostle. Duplicated employees will be able to work on Plague Doctor without getting blessed, but after restarting the day they will not be able to work on them anymore. Since the duplicated employee is the same as it was when the day was restarted, you could buff an employee with lob points and then use the glitch to get a buffed employee for free. Duplicated employees also keep whatever EGO they had on, meaning that EGOs can be duplicated. These EGO will be retained through multiple days, but restarting the day or closing the game will cause any duplicated EGO to disappear, so only one duplicated set of EGO is possible. I might be wrong but I think the way this glitch works is that when you retry the day while holding an employee, the game reverts the day so it sets everything including the employee to where it should be, but then since you were holding an employee it puts the employee you were holding into storage. So effectively you’re sending an employee back in time to the start of the day where there’s already another of that same employee.
